The Origin of Mobile Phone Technology

One of the most fascinating figures in history has arguably been the inventor Nikola Tesla. Not only was he instrumental in the development of X-rays, the inventor of radio and the AC motor, Tesla can also in many ways be considered the father of mobile technology. His experimentation's and discoveries regarding wireless communications and free energy were a huge part of his life. In fact, without his contributions in the late 1800’s and early 20th century we might not have any of the technologies that we currently enjoy today: including mobile and smartphones.

Here is an extremely interesting quote that Nikola Tesla spoke in the year 1926: “When wireless is perfectly applied the whole earth will be converted into a huge brain, which in fact it is, all things being part of a real and rhythmic whole. We shall be able to communicate with each other instantly, irrespective of distance. Not only this, but through television and telephony we shall see and hear one another perfectly as though we were face to face, despite intervening distances of thousands of miles; and the instruments through which we shall be able to do this will be amazingly simple compared with our present telephone. A man will be able to carry one in his vest pocket.” Tesla had the incredible foresight to predict exactly the technology we use almost 100 years later; his theories and experiments date even further back, so altogether his predictions were incredibly accurate.

Tesla was backed by J.P. Morgan in order to help finance a tower that would use the natural frequencies found on earth and the galaxy in order to transmit all sorts of data, such as images, text, voices and so forth. In essence, this was the first foray into wireless communications and technology; the experiment also had potential to provide the world with limitless, free energy.  So when you make a call on your mobile phone or look up information through Wi-Fi on your smartphone, we truly have Tesla to thank for all of this. Without his visions and studies into the fabric of our universe, we might still be decades behind in terms of communications advancement.

Mobile technology and wireless communications has undoubtedly become an integral part of our society. The Lifeline government phone plan aids those who are unable to afford their own, and for those who might qualify. Sign up today!
