  5. Make a list or plan what you want to buy before you go to the store.  This will save you time and keep you from over-spending.
  6. Shop the clearance aisles - Day old bread on clearance often taste just as good as the full priced bread. To keep it fresh longer, store it in the fridge. Once it starts getting hard, you can make toast or croutons out of it.  
  7. Last, don't think of it as a chore, think of it as a game to see how much you can save.  There are often percentages saved on the bottom of your receipt.  Try to see how much you can save by beating last weeks percentage!
