California LifeLine Can Help Make Ends Meet

Every month, millions of Californians are struggling to make ends meet. Some are working two or even three jobs just to pay the bills. Government assistance is necessary for some of these hard-working people as well. Programs like Medi-Cal, SNAP (food stamps), and others help meet
basic needs. Another program, California LifeLine, meets the need of being in touch with the rest of the world.

Some believe having a cell phone is an added luxury of life. In the 21st century, a mobile phone is anything BUT a luxury. The need to stay in touch with employers, teachers, daycare providers, friends, and family is impossible to meet without a phone. It’s likely a landline phone isn’t the answer for a single parent working two jobs to put food on the table. Through the California LifeLine program with Budget Mobile, those who qualify are eligible for a free cell phone, 1,000 free minutes and unlimited free texts every month.

If you, or someone you know, meets low-income requirements or receives government assistance like Medi-Cal, SNAP, or other programs eligibility for California LifeLine benefits is likely. To learn more, visit our website or connect with us on Facebook and Twitter.
